Benefits Canada has published an article by our EVP and Chief Pension Officer, Peter Shena, where he discusses why OPB believes it's so important to engage our members early on to help them understand how pension decisions can impact their overall financial security. "It's critical that pension plans make member engagement a priority early in the process. If we don't, we lose out on the opportunity to create a meaningful relationship and help members understand the important role their pension plays in their overall retirement and financial plan," says Shena. The article is part of Benefits Canada's online Sounding Board series featuring various contributors from the Pensions and Benefits industry.
