Premium rate and SLI holiday changes effective July 1, 2020 for retirees

The Government of Ontario has announced changes to the premium rates for the Ontario Public Service (OPS) Post-Retirement Benefit (PRB) plans (where applicable), and for the Optional Upgrade Package (OUP) for eligible retired members that will be effective July 1, 2020.

Supplementary Life Insurance (SLI) premiums will also resume as of July 1, 2020 as the premium holiday will be ending.

You will receive an update in the mail about these rate changes shortly.

Adjusted premium deductions from your monthly pension will be reflected on your July 2020 Pay Statement from ADP and your July 22nd pension payroll deposit.
